Overview
Mara Personal Assistant is a private, self-hosted application operated solely for its owner's personal use. It is not offered as a public service.
Google user data accessed
After the owner grants permission, Mara may access Google Calendar data, including calendar names, event titles, dates, times, locations, descriptions, attendees, and availability information. Mara uses this information to answer the owner's questions, prepare schedule summaries, identify scheduling conflicts, and perform calendar actions the owner explicitly requests.
Use and storage
Google OAuth credentials are stored in the owner's private, self-hosted Hermes environment. Calendar information may be processed and displayed in the owner's private assistant conversations. Mara does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or training public machine-learning models.
Sharing
Google user data is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers or data brokers. Data is disclosed only to service providers required to operate the owner's private assistant infrastructure, or when required by law.
Retention and deletion
OAuth credentials remain stored until the owner revokes access or deletes them. The owner controls the self-hosted system and may delete stored credentials and conversation records. Google account access can also be revoked at Google Account permissions.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Mara's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
